McAfee Central fails to load after installing the following McAfee Products (listed below) on International English versions of Windows.
When these McAfee Products are installed on an international version of Windows such as United Kingdom or Canadian, the installer fails to install the correct language Central resource DLL.
This results in the Home page not displaying when trying to run any of the following McAfee Products:
• McAfee VirusScan V6.00 and V6.01
• McAfee VirusScan Pro V6.00 and V6.01
• McAfee Internet Security V4.00 and V4.01
• McAfee Firewall V3.00 and V3.01
• McAfee QuickClean v2.00 and v2.01
Relevant for users who have McAfee Firewall v2.10, v2.11, v2.12, v2.13 and v2.14. Fixed Issue: This patch blocks new masqueraded applications from communicating over the internet.
