Informational alerts let you know when events occur that do not threaten your PC's security.
For example, when Personal Firewall is on, an informational alert appears by default whenever a program on your PC is given access to the Internet. You can hide a certain type of informational alert, or you can hide all types of informational alerts. If you hide an informational alert by mistake, you can show it again at any time. By default, your McAfee software shows all informational alerts.
