Change your administrator password

If you want to change your administrator password, especially if you think it is compromised, you can do so at any time.

If you forget your administrator password after you change it, you will be unable to log on to Parental Controls . Make sure to memorize it or write it down and keep it in a safe spot; otherwise, you will have to reinstall your McAfee software to reset it.

Open Parental Controls .

•	On the Home Page , open the Parental Controls drawer, then click Parental Controls .

On the main Parental Controls page, click Change next to Administrator Password.

On the Change Password page, type your password in the Current Password field, type a new password in the New Password field, then retype your new password in the Re-enter field.

In the New Hint field, type a password hint, then click Save.

In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
