McAfee Anti-Theft Help

If your PC is ever lost or stolen, you can log in to the Anti-Theft Web Console to secure your PC and immediately lock it down so it's useless to thieves.

1	Log in to the Anti-Theft Web Console. How? 1 McAfee My Account with your My Account email and password. 2 From your My Account page, find McAfee Anti-Theft and click Go to Web Console.
2	Make sure your PC is in normal mode.
3	From the web console, click Secure my PC.
4	To shut down and lock your PC, select Lock down my PC, then click Continue.
5	If necessary, enter the message you'd like to appear on your PC's unlock screen, and set your Anti-Theft password that you'll need to unlock your PC after it locks down.
6	Click Shut down. Before your PC can save the changes, it must first connect to the Internet and sync with your account. This can take several minutes.
