When your PC will be used by someone other than you, you can turn on repair shop mode to lock all files in your My Documents folder, your Microsoft Office files, Microsoft Money files, and Intuit Quicken files – so that only you can open them.

Log in to the Anti-Theft Web Console.

Log in to McAfee My Account with your My Account email and password.

From your My Account page, find
McAfee
Anti-Theft
and click Go to Web Console.

Make sure your PC is in normal mode.

Click Settings in the top right corner of the web console.

Go to the Other Settings tab, then to Repair shop mode, and do one of the following:
• | To turn off repair shop mode, uncheck the box. |
• | To turn on repair shop mode, check the box. |

Click Save.
 | Before your PC can save the changes, it must first connect to the Internet and sync with your account. This can take several minutes. If you want to sync now, open McAfee Anti-Theft from your PC's desktop and click Sync on the Home Page. |
