If your device is lost or stolen, you need to access a web browser on any device, and log in to the
Anti-Theft Web Console to secure your device. You can then lock down your device so it's useless to thieves.

Log in to the
Anti-Theft Web Console.

From any device, log in to
My Account using the email address and password you entered when you first created your account.

From the
Device Protection tab, choose your device and click
Go to Web Console.

Make sure your device is in normal mode.

From the web console, click
Secure my device.
|

Select
Lock down my device, then click
Continue.

If necessary, enter the contact information that you want to appear when your device starts up, and set your
Anti-Theft password
that you'll need to unlock your device after it locks down.

Click
Shut down.
 | It might take several minutes to lock down your device because your device must first connect to the Internet and then sync with your account.
