If you plan to be away from your device for more than a day, you can turn on vacation mode to disable file locking and the auto-lock timer so your device isn't automatically locked down while you're away.

Log in to the
Anti-Theft Web Console.

From any device, log in to
My Account using the email address and password you entered when you first created your account.

From the
Device Protection tab, choose your device and click
Go to Web Console.

1 | Make sure your device is in normal mode.

Settings, and then click
Other settings.

Vacation mode, select
Start vacation mode.

 | It might take several minutes to save the changes to your device because your device must first connect to the Internet and then sync with your account. If you want to sync now, open
McAfee Anti-Theft from your device's desktop and click
Sync on the Home Page.

Stop vacation mode

Click
Return to normal mode.
