If your device is ever lost or stolen, you need to access a web browser on any device and log in to the
Anti-Theft Web Console to secure your device. You can then choose to track your device's location or lock down your device.

Log in to the
Anti-Theft Web Console.

From any device, log in to
My Account using the email address and password you entered when you first created your account.

From the
Device Protection tab, choose your device and click
Go to Web Console.

Make sure your device is in normal mode.

Click
Secure my device.

Choose how you want to secure your device:
| • | Select
Start stealth mode to keep your device on, lock your files, and track your device's location when it's connected to the Internet. Then, click
Continue.

| • | Select
Lock down my device to stop tracking your device and immediately lock it down so it's useless to thieves. Then, click
Continue. If necessary, enter the contact information that you want to appear when your device starts up, and set your
Anti-Theft password
that you'll need to unlock your device after it locks down. Click
Shut down.

 | It might take several minutes to save the changes to your device because your device must first connect to the Internet and then sync with your account.

When your device syncs with your account, the web console displays your device's new mode (stealth mode or lockdown mode).
