The User Datagram Protocol is one of the protocols used for Internet access, allowing applications to send and receive information with low processing overhead, in the form of datagrams.
Datagrams are formatted units of data that can be sent to your PC over a network for many purposes, most commonly media streaming. When you allow other network PC users to send datagrams to your PC, without being contacted by your PC first, this is called
UDP tracking.
