You can shred an item at any time. Shredder automatically shreds the item you selected the first time that you used Shredder. If this is your first time using Shredder, you must select your settings. To select or change your settings, read Set up Shredder.

1	Open the main Tools page How? 1 On the Home Page, open the Data Protection and Backup drawer. 2 Click Shredder.
2	Under Shredder, click Shred.
3	When prompted, click Yes to permanently delete the items from your PC.
