Open the Firewall settings page.

On the Home Page, click Firewall.

Click Settings.

Click Ports and System Services.

To add a system service port, click Add. To edit an existing system service port, select a system service from the list and click Edit.

Type the following:
• | Service name |
• | Service category |

Click the arrow next to Protocol to pull down the menu, and select TCP/IP, UDP or Both.

Under Port do one of the following:
• | Select Single, then type the IP address in the IP address field. |
• | Select Range, then type the starting and ending IP addresses, in the IP address fields. If your PC connection is on an IPv6 network, type the starting IP address and the prefix length. |

Under Open a port to a computer or network on a, do one of the following:
To... |

To open the port to any computer on a Home, Work, or Public network (for example, a home network, a corporate network, or an Internet network) |
Select Home, Work, or a Public network. |
To open the port to any computer on only a Home or Work network (for example, a home network or a corporate network) |
Select Home or Work network only. |
| If you enter the port information incorrectly, the system service fails. |

To send this port's activity information to another network PC that shares your Internet connection, select Forward port activity to other PCs using Internet Connection Sharing.

Type an optional description for the service in the Service Description field.

Click Save.
| If you are creating a system service port to be blocked, you must clear its checkbox after making it. Otherwise, the newly created port will be open. |
