The McAfee QuickClean™ tool optimizes your PC's performance by deleting unnecessary files that can slow down your hard drive.

This tool cleans areas you specify, including your Recycle Bin, temporary files, shortcuts, lost file fragments, registry files, cached files, cookies, browser history files, sent and deleted email, and old Active-X files. You can use this tool as needed, and you can schedule it to clean your PC regularly and automatically.

This protection feature might not be turned on, installed, or included in your McAfee software. To learn about the protection features included in your McAfee suite, read Understanding your protection features.

•	McAfee QuickClean tool features Use the McAfee QuickClean™ tool to increase space on your hard drive.
•	Cleaning your PC The first time that you use the McAfee QuickClean™ tool, you can select the items that you want to clean, or simply accept the default selections. Once you set it up, the tool saves your settings so that anytime you want to clean your PC, you can do so quickly.
