Understanding your protection drawers

"Protection drawers" contain the features that you use to protect your PC. If all of the features inside of a drawer are working properly, the message "Active" appears when you move your mouse over the drawer.

If McAfee detects a problem with a protection feature, however, the message "Attention!" appears when you move your mouse over the drawer where the feature is located. You can click on a drawer to see the status of a feature inside. A feature's status can be:

•	On or Off
•	Installed or Available (for installation)
•	Set Up

If a feature's status is "Set Up," you need to customize your settings before the feature can work properly. You can click a feature name to open its setting page. The drawers and features that are available to you depend on the McAfee suite you purchase.
