When you turn off Smart Advice, the alerts you receive do not include any recommendations about how to handle Internet access for programs. Personal Firewall only blocks a program from accessing the Internet automatically if the detected program is suspicious or known to be a threat.

1	Open the Firewall settings page. How? 1 On the Home Page, click Firewall. 2 Click Settings.
2	Click Smart Advice and Advanced Settings.
3	Clear Enable Smart Advice.
4	Click Apply.
