You can use Access Protection to protect your most essential McAfee files, registries and services in case you accidentally delete them. It also protects against malware that attacks anti-virus software.

1	Open the General Settings and Alerts page. How? 1 On the Home Page, click Navigation in the upper-right corner. 2 Click General Settings and Alerts.
2	Click the Access Protection drawer.
3	Do one of the following: To... Do this... Turn on Access Protection Select the Use Access Protection checkbox. Turn off Access Protection Deselect the Use Access Protection checkbox.
