You can set McAfee to lock your vaults automatically when you aren't using your PC, or when your screen saver is activated. This makes sure your files are always secure, even if you forget to lock your vault.
You vaults also lock automatically when you shut down or restart your PC.

Open File Lock.

Double-click the McAfee icon in your taskbar.

Open the Data Protection and Backup drawer, then click File Lock.

From the toolbar in the right pane, click Options.

Select the automatic locking options for your vaults.
