After Vulnerability Scanner finds new updates, you can view details about the updates, install selected updates, perform another scan, or cancel the results.

| View the scan progress | On the Home Page, open the PC and Home Network Tools drawer, then click Vulnerability Scanner. |
| View details about a Windows or program update | Select the arrow beside the Windows or program update. |
| Install selected updates | Select all updates, or each update separately, then click Install updates. If you have any program or Windows files open that require updates, close them now. |
| Download updates that must be installed by you | Click the Download link and follow the instructions to install the update yourself. |
| Perform another scan | Click Scan again. |
| Close the results | Click Cancel. |
Whether you watch the installation progress or run it in the background, Vulnerability Scanner lets you know when the updates are installed, and provides a summary of the results.
