If your device is ever lost or stolen, you need to access a web browser on any device, and log in to the
Intel® AT Service Web Management Console to secure your device. You can then choose to lock down your device so it's useless to thieves.

Log in to the
Intel® AT Service Web Management Console.

From any device, log in to
My Account with your My Account email and password.

From the
Device Protection tab, choose your device and click
Go to Web Console.

Make sure your device is in normal mode.

From the web console, click
Secure my device.

To shut down and lock your device, select
Lock down my device, then click
Continue.

If necessary, enter the contact information that you'd like to appear when your device starts up, and set the
Intel® AT Service password that you'll need to unlock your device after it locks down.

Click
Shut down.
| Before your device can save the changes, it must first connect to the Internet and sync with your account. This can take several minutes.
