Intel® Anti-Theft Service Help

Working with the Intel® AT Service Web Management Console

The Intel® AT Service Web Management Console lets you remotely mark your device as lost or stolen, track its location, lock it down, or manage other features from any device's browser.

Here's what you can do from the web console:
Log in from any device's browser

You can access the web console by logging in to My Account with your My Account email address and password.

Review and change your device's state

See and update your device's state when it's lost or stolen, when you're away on vacation, or when you need to let others use your computer.

Return your device to normal mode

Before you can make any changes to settings from the web console, you need to make sure your device is in normal mode.

Mark your device as lost or stolen

If your device is missing, quickly mark it as lost or stolen and choose whether to track its location or lock it down.

Track your device's location

If you have device tracking on and your device has an Internet connection, your device will periodically transmit its location. You can view this location history from the web console's mapping feature.

Lock down your lost or stolen device

If your device is lost or stolen, you can lock down your device so it's useless to thieves. Once locked down, your device can only be unlocked with your Intel® AT Service password.

Unlock your device

After your device locks down, you can unlock it using your Intel® AT Service password.

Set device tracking

Device tracking lets you track your device's location when your device is connected to the Internet.

Set file protection

File protection automatically encrypts all files in your My Documents folder, and all Microsoft Office files, Microsoft Money files, and Intuit Quicken files – so that only you can open them.

Set the auto-lock timer

The auto-lock timer controls the number of days your device can be disconnected from the Internet before it's locked down.

Change your Intel® AT Service password

You'll need your Intel® AT Service password if your device is ever locked down, or your files are locked.

Change your device's lockdown message

When your device locks down, it will start up to a screen that displays a custom message that you create.

Set vacation mode

If you plan to be away from your device, you can put it in vacation mode to disable the locking features.

Set repair shop mode

If your device will be used by someone other than you, repair shop mode encrypts your important files and keeps them protected while your device is out of your hands.

Change your contact information

Intel® AT Service emails you about important events affecting your device. You'll need to provide an email address you use often so that you can receive timely messages about your device.
