If your device is ever lost or stolen, you need to access a web browser on any device and log in to the
Intel® AT Service Web Management Console to secure your device. You can then choose to track your device's location or lock down your device.
1 |
Log in to the
Intel® AT Service Web Management Console.
1 |
From any device, log in to
My Account with your My Account email and password.
|
2 |
From the
Device Protection tab, choose your device and click
Go to Web Console.
|
|

Make sure your device is in normal mode.

You now need to decide whether to put your device in stealth mode or lockdown mode:
• | To keep your device on, lock your files, and track your device's location when it's connected to the Internet, select
Start stealth mode, then click
Continue.
|
• | To stop tracking your device and immediately lock it down so it's useless to thieves, select
Lock down my device, then click
Continue. If necessary, change the message you'd like to appear onscreen when your device restarts after it locks down. You can also change the
Intel® AT Service password that you'll need to unlock your device after it locks down. Click
Shut down.
|
| Before your device can change modes, it must first connect to the Internet and sync with your account. This can take several minutes.

When your device syncs with your account, the web console displays your device's new mode (stealth mode or lockdown mode).
