Before your device and its important files can be protected by
McAfee Anti-Theft, you'll need to set it up on your device. The setup wizard guides you through selecting security questions and answers to protect your account, and choosing your settings.

Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.

Double-click the
McAfee Anti-Theft icon in your taskbar.

From the Home Page, click
Set up.
|
You'll be asked to:
| • | Create an
Anti-Theft password
that you'll need if your device is ever locked down, or your files are locked.
|
| • | Provide an email address to receive important updates about your device's status.
|
| • | Verify that you want to track your device's location in case of loss or theft.
|
Once setup is complete, you can access the
Anti-Theft Web Console from any device's web browser to remotely manage your settings.
